Humans eat albacore tuna. What do albacore tuna eat?
Answered by JohnChildersAlbacore, best known to people as canned tuna, prefer small baitfish. We think they spawn somewhere south of Japan, then swim all the way across the ocean to the eastern Pacific, where they spend their time foraging and growing. At about age five, when they reach sexual maturity, albacore migrate toward the central and western Pacific. However, their very early and late life history is still a mystery. We don’t know that much about albacore because they can’t be kept in captivity like bluefin tuna.

Albacore tuna can be found worldwide, though they are rare in the tropic's.
